MOMA with MOMMA

Most babies in Palo Alto are at least passably familiar with the works of Mondrian, Klee, Lichtenstein, Picasso, and Matisse by the time they are four months old. As we felt that our little pumpkin had some catching-up to do, we took her up to the city to visit the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
First, lunch at Francis Ford Coppola’s Café Zoetrope.
Page pondering the future meaning behind Paul Klee’s Engel bringt das Gewünschte. (with help from Mum, of course)
Page considered this to be her favourite piece.

(almost) 4 months old
Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

Its hard to believe that its been 4 months already. Everyday is a new adventure. Page has been talking so much, lots of little drool added into her conversations. I tend to have a burp rag in one hand at all times just trying to keep up with it. She is on the move constantly. It won’t be long now before she is crawling around. She has a feisty personality, so sweet, curious and active. We have our work cut out for us in the months ahead, but it is oh-so-fun!
Gobble, Gobble…

We took Page back to my hometown of Milwaukee to see Grandpa Jim, and Uncle Cris and Cole and families. It was a great trip. Page was a trooper and did great on the flights. We even got a “Good job!” from a fellow passenger as we departed the plane. Oh, and if you are carrying a baby while going through TSA, you don’t have to experience the harrowing x-ray’s and searches. Bonus! We spent many hours relaxing at Grandpa’s house and Brendan even got to play some American football with Cris and Grandpa. Now we are back home and dreaming of our next trip to Tahoe in the next 2 weeks. There is tons of snow!!

Rolling
Saturday, November 20th, 2010
Alex and I are happy to announce that Page is now rolling herself. We are both immensely proud of her.
So proud that we plan to put bumper stickers on our cars to let everyone know just how more amazing our child is than anyone else’s.
Page also seems very pleased with herself at her accomplishments.
